SWAG (Students Working to Achieve Goals) is a community of networking students, educators, parents and community leaders advocating SUCCESS through support and high expectations.  The main focus of SWAG is Student Leadership and Achievement; all participants in the program attend Jacksonville High School.  The program is specifically designed to assists students in influencing a school-wide culture change. We address these important transitions in young people's lives by building into schools an important set of rituals and practices that reinforce healthy values in students and encourage critical thinking.

Program participants receive daily academic assistance including homework help, tutoring, ACT and standardized test preparation, and study skills techniques.  Academic services are provided in smaller classroom settings with a more hands on approach.  Enrichment sessions follow academic preparation to balance students culturally and socially.

Funding for this program is made possible by a grant through 21st Century Community Learning Centers, all program participants attend Free of Charge!  Student transportation is available...so download or pick up an enrollment application in the main office on campus today!
